Since joining the workforce in 2014, I've had the privilege of working in both inpatient, outpatient, and outreach clinical laboratory settings across Minnesota.
My mission is two-fold:
Increase visibility and understanding of the Medical Laboratory Science field to the public.
Foster a space of learning to prospective and current MLS/MLT members seeking CE education.
My vision:
Partner with individuals and organizations to grow the voice of the Medical Laboratory Science community.
My professional specialty is change management through new LIS implementation. I am certified in Epic instructional design, reporting, clinical and anatomic pathology. My role sits at the intersection of information science, information systems, workflow/process, and leadership/management. I help with post go-live optimization by transforming data into actionable information to improve laboratory outcomes. Ask me about instructional design, reporting, and outreach interface setup and validation.
